MEET THE CANDIDATES

Scott Dussault is running for the Board of Fire Commissioners 5 year term beginning January 1, 2018 and ending December 31, 2022.  He’s been a firemen at Maple Avenue for 15 years and has held various positions.  Scott is just completing his two year term as Commissioner, and looks forward serving the Greenfield and Wilton communities in a new term. In his two years the Board has not raised the fire tax and he and the Board have accomplished projects that further the safety of the firemen in the District.

George Miller has been a resident of Middle Grove for 15 years, and a member of Middle Grove Fire Company #3 for 14 years.  He is retired from a career in retail management.   George’s experience as a Personnel Manager and Store Manager has given him valuable skills in both Human Resources and developing operating budgets. George was appointed to the Board of Fire Commissioners in May 2017 and is running for the one year that remains of the late Don Kugler’s five year term.  Your support is appreciated, and he promises to represent both the firefighters and the tax payers fairly and honestly.
