NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals are sought and requested by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Greenfield Fire District, Saratoga County, New York for the purpose of obtaining one 2024 or newer model FORD F-450 Super Duty XLT Crew Cab or equivalent vehicle that meets the needs of Greenfield Fire District.
Bid documents are available for download online from the Greenfield Fire District website: www.greenfieldfd.org. Specifications are also available upon request by contacting the Director of Purchasing at (518) 893-0723 x 2, or at the District Office located at 13 South Greenfield Road, Greenfield Center, NY, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to: Greenfield Fire District
PO Box 103, 13 S Greenfield Road, Greenfield Center, NY 12833 and must be received by 4:00 pm on April 8, 2025 EST.
The following information shall be included on the face of said envelope
1) NAME AND ADDRESS OF BIDDER
2) NAME OF BID (Greenfield Fire District Utility Pickup)
3) DATE AND TIME OF BID OPENING (April 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM)
All bids are to be publicly opened and read aloud at 7:00 PM eastern time on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Greenfield Fire District Office, located at 13 South Greenfield Road, Building #2, Greenfield Center New York.
The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Greenfield Fire District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid best suited for its specific needs.
The District reserves the right to extend the term of this contract for any length of time up to thirty (30) days beyond the time herein specified as the expiration date of this
contract at identical terms and conditions.
Bidding shall be in accordance with the instructions to bidders.
