NOTICE Opportunity to Bid on Fire District Surplus Property The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Greenfield Fire District, Town of Greenfield, Saratoga County, New York, is accepting SEALED bids for the below listed equipment on a final sale and as is competitive bid basis. NO GUARANTEES OF ANY KIND ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY THE GREENFIELD FIRE DISTRICT. Offering is subject to special sealed bid conditions and other terms listed herein. Bidders may inspect equipment prior to submitting a bid by calling the district office and speaking to Director of Purchasing Jill Chouinard. A sealed bid is required for this piece of equipment and must contain the following information: name, address, contact phone number and bid price. Box 103 Greenfield Center, NY 12833 Attn. Director of Purchasing, and shall be received no later than 3:00 PM prevailing time on July 22, 2015. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the Board of Fire Commissioners Workshop held at 7:00 PM on July 22, 2015 at the Greenfield Center Firehouse located at 13 South Greenfield Road, Greenfield Center, NY. The Greenfield Fire District reserves the right to reject any or all bids without explanation. Terms and Conditions Payment shall be made in the form of cashiers check or money order payable to the Greenfield Fire District . Successful bidders shall be notified by the Director or Purchasing via phone, shall have 24 hours to respond to the award, and must make all arrangements and bear all costs for removal/delivery of equipment, which shall occur no later than July 31, 2015. Failure of the successful bidder(s) to pay or remove items is cause for rejection of all future bids from that party.
